503 Ultrabright Monitor

The 503 Ultrabright On-Camera Monitor is built for every environment, featuring a daylight-viewable screen, durable design, professional software toolset, and two user function buttons. The monitor is constructed from a milled aluminum housing with an optically bonded Gorilla Glass display, making it one of the most durable monitors in the field.

With 2,200 nits of brightness and HDR preview, projects can be viewed with color accuracy in full sunlight. No matter the time of day or environment, you get a clear, glare-free view of your production. This 5-inch monitor features a 1080p resolution with HDR Preview and a 10-bit ColorEngine while maintaining low power consumption. Load 3D LUTs via SD card using SmallHD’s ColorFlow 3D LUT engine.

The 503 Ultrabright includes 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs, along with two locking 2-pin connectors—one for power input and one for power distribution to external devices. This kit also includes a Sony L-Series battery plate.

Using SmallHD PageOS software, you can build customized Page Profiles and access tools such as frame guides, Focus & Exposure Assist, high-resolution 3D LUT overlays, histogram, vectorscope, waveform, and more.

Sunhood Cage Combo for 503 Ultrabright

Add privacy and glare protection with the 503 Sunhood. The Sunhood Cage Combo includes both the sunhood and cage, which is required for mounting. The cage attaches to the sides of the monitor and provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, along with slots for the hood.

The battery plate features a secure locking system that prevents accidental battery disconnection.
